From consumer reporting agencies, we obtain information such as your creditworthiness and credit history.
From verifications of information you provide on applications and other forms, we obtain information from current and past employers, other financial institutions and other sources listed on the application.
We may also disclose information we collect about you under the circumstances as permitted or required by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of the credit union, follow your instructions as you authorize, or protect the security if our financial records.
If you terminate your membership with Credit Union One of Oklahoma, we will not share any information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.
How We Protect Your Information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who have a specific business purpose in utilizing your data. Our employees are trained in the importance of maintaining confidentiality and member privacy. Applications
Only business related information is requested on any CU One application. This information that is collected is only used for review of qualifications for the loan, account, or service, which you are applying. Any information collected will not be given or sold to third parties.
Personal information contained in e-mail sent by members and non-members may be used by CU One staff to answer questions, follow up on suggestions or complaints, or to improve the level of service. Please be advised that e-mail may not be secure against interception by unauthorized individuals.
