What is a Credit Union?
A credit union is a democratic, non-profit financial institution owned by its members. Credit unions are open to groups within the eligible field of membership, who may join and become part-owners.
Am I eligible?
Membership is available to anyone who resides, works, worships or attends school in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Statistical Area. This area consists of the following six counties: Canadian, Cleveland, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma and Pottawatomie. Membership is also available to current employees, former employees, and family members of Core Agencies and Select Employee Groups eligible for membership in Credit Union One. How Do I Join?
Once you have established your eligibility for membership, simply open a Share Savings Account with as little as $25.00. Your $25.00 deposit immediately entitles you to take advantage of the wide array of products and services Credit Union One has to offer. As soon as you join, your family members are also eligible to join-including your spouse, children, parents, spouse's parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and others. Stop by any Credit Union One location to fill in a membership application or call any Member Service Representative to request an application by mail. - When you open an account, we will ask for your name, residential and mailing address, date of birth and identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, VISA Number, etc.)
